Cold Hands, Cold Feet: What Your Body is Telling You - And Why You Shouldn’t Ignore It.
Your extremities are screaming something important to you. Do you understand what they say?
Thermal Therapy + Contrast Therapy
Do you always have cold hands, and or cold feet?
Do you feel clammy?
How about night sweats, or day sweats or have profuse sweating, or cannot sweat?
_______________________________________________________________________
There is a difference in how to use contrast therapy or how we use temperatures - sauna and cold water for example - to remedy the issues I stated above. Our thermal regulatory system is key to how our bodies feel and deal within the changing climates, especially with weather shifts.
People are told by “professionals” in the power positions of health, that you need only just wear gloves, or cover your feet, or wear neoprene, or whichever bullshit nonsense you might have read about what having cold extremities means. Over the years I have spoken with doctors, nurses, heart surgeons and pharmacists alike who have come in for coaching/ education and guidance at Element Outdoor Sauna. These long talks helped me understand where the “health” care system is lacking.
Health prevention begins within us. The medical system of today is our second tier., not the first line of defence. You are your captain of your ship READ MORE BLOGS. Stop giving away your power. Start understanding what your body is saying. It is time to understand so you can regain power.
SYMPTOMS: Your body is asking for help:
Cold hands - hard to regulate temperature, or they never feel warm
Cold feet/ toes - cannot get warm no matter how much layering
Diagnosed with a term I despise - “Raynaud’s phenomenon” - labeling this kind of issue is unacceptable. We know as soon as a person is diagnosed with something, it attaches to you like a born characteristic or trait that you feel obliged to keep forever. NONSENSE. This term for weak vascular health can go away by exercising your vascular system wisely. Yes, you can.
The worst thing you can do is wear neoprene protective wear on your hands and feet while in the cold water. OR you are told to avoid cold altogether, which will worsen the issue.

WHAT YOUR BODY IS TELLING YOU:
Misinterpreting the signs of your body’s cues has been happening for centuries. After all your attempts to “warm” up by wearing more layers of clothing, or covering your body and limbs in all weather while not understanding “HOW” to respond in the current weather or situation… well, I am here to help you understand that you and about 98% of the people I have seen and helped at Element Outdoor Sauna, are not alone. The more you try to remedy is a mere temporary bandaid solution.
Let’s look at cold feet: This is the largest area of concern. The feet are the furthest area from your pump - the heart. Feet have smaller blood vessels too, so they work harder to circulate blood flow. We also need to look at how the entire vascular system is made - the anatomy: the system is so vast in your body, that when stretched out lengthwise it can wrap around the globe twice if not more. It is huge! The system needs to continue to operate like a highway that never stops, it imports and extracts important nutrients. The system is made up of smooth involuntary muscles that can only be exercised - become fit as it were - by use of vasoconstriction and vasodilation.

There are some foods that can help with circulation movement, however, it also means that you can add to the existing problem by selecting other problems while consuming foods that impede the repairs and maintenance of this crucial highway system. The traffic will jam up even quicker. And food or diet alone will not remedy your existing problem alone. Supportive therapy, is necessary.
In my other blogs, I have provided you with the term - HORMESIS. These are the good stresses we all need. These are crucial to supporting our lives in this modern day with all the bad things we eat, consume, absorb, retain, that our highways get junked up, thicken and clog. HORMESIS types, there are five crucial ones humans need. I have laid these out in several other blogs, but this blog here.. will help you understand HORMESIS.
Rather than giving a name for the traffic jams in the circulatory system, why not prevent the jam to begin with? When these traffic jams start, or become fully blocked - there is trouble beyond what most people with this issue feel is just cold hands or cold feet.
For instance:
WHAT COLD EXTREMITIES COULD MEAN:
- poor thyroid function - cold toes is a strong indicator and often are found together
- poor vascular health - pro athletes to the athletic and regular folk who don’t exercise have this
- Lack of BAT (brown adipose tissue) - we need this type of fat to help hormones, and thyroid
- poor metabolism -
- lowered nervous system balancing - lacking homeostasis in body, and mind
- cardiovascular risks - there are many types or forms*
So you see, they are linked. This is just the tip of the iceburg.

There are the other systems that are affected or that are linked to this issue, which are:
THERMOREGULATION
LYMPHATIC SYSTEM
THE PERFECT ALIGNMENT:
The trio that work well together for optimum health which is wealth.
Thermoregulation + Lymphatic system + Vascular system
These are the systems I teach and show you how to use these three systems to become a super human. Each one of us has the tools - I teach you how and when to use them.
It does not take long to condition your body thermally. Understanding how is what we teach, where consistency plus smart training matters.
