EXPECT:

  • You will have the space completely to yourself. If you wish to be au natural, (NAKED), please do so. We highly recommend.

  • You will be greeted by owner and Certified Thermalist®, Denise. She will provide you with the protocol.

  • What are the health benefits of combining sauna and ice bath? Denise, Certified Thermalist®, will guide you in a private full contrast session for one or two people. Please book in under coaching in the offerings menu.

  • We help you navigate the ice bath

  • We set up the protocol for you

  • The washroom/ change room where you prepare for your session is inside the building.

  • First timers at Element are walked through the entire process.

  • You are sent a confirmation email immediately after you book, with all the details about your session.

Here’s What You Need To Know

    • Private access to sauna, ice bath and rooftop lounge

    • Private shower, change room, and locker with key

    • Complimentary body wash, towels, hair ties, water and electrolytes

    • Optional coaching to get into ice bath

  • You may wish to bring swimwear, but it's also OK if you'd like to be nude. The space is private.

    Slippers are NOT allowed in the sauna, but you can wear them to and from the change room if you prefer.

  • Yep. Rain or shine, heat or snow, we are open (except for severe storms). Challenge yourself and build your resilience. This a not a spa where you're meant to be comfortable. Come discover what your body is capable of.

  • Element Outdoor Sauna is located on the rooftop patio of the Inner Arts Collective.

    This is a shared workspace between several holistic practitioners. There is no reception desk, so the front door of the building is often locked.

    Please wait at the front door for Denise to let you in 5-10 minutes before the start of your session.

  • Sessions are available by appointment only.

    You can always check the schedule via the booking link below to check for same day availability.

  • Solo guests 19+ are welcome.

    Guests 13+ must be accompanied by an adult.

  • This is an hour dedicated to be quiet and present with yourself, and with nature. Therefore, we don't allow any distractions up in the space.

    Your valuables can be safely stored in a private locker.

  • Showers are mandatory before entering the space. Any deodorant, perfume, or lotion must come off before getting in the ice bath or it will clog the unit.

    We strongly recommend NOT showering AFTER your session so you preserve the state of thermogenesis induced by the cold.

  • Please notify Denise via email (info@elementoutdoorsauna.com) if you are going to be late.

    Sessions run back to back on the hour, so unfortunately there is no room to roll overtime if you show up late.

  • You can cancel or reschedule your session via the booking system up to 24 hours before your sessions.

    Cancellations of less than 24 hours are billed the full amount.
